A Cold In October Day...

wow!  it has been way to long since i have wrote a blog.  we have been so busy these last few weeks.  we have been packing and moving things to our new house.  can't wait to fully move into our new place!  hopefully the end of this weekend beginning of next week.  so right now we are living off the bare essentials.  i can't do any of my crafts either cause i had packed all that up.  the only thing i left out for me to do is my shrug.  i am actually finally get further on it.  still have a long ways to go yet too.  my son has a 4 day weekend since it is his school's mea.  he is really happy about that.  i on the other hand will be missing the peace and quiet.  although it will be nice for him to be home too.  i hope the weather is decent so we can be outside so they can run off all of their energy.  well, i am off to go do some more knitting on my shrug.  i will share some photos on here from today.  have a great day!

OMG!!  It is so cold here in Northern Minnesota.  Woke up to frost all over the ground.  Can't believe winter is around the corner.  I am sure looking forward to the 70 degree weather come Monday.  I hope it lasts for another couple weeks too.  I don't like cold weather.  My daughter wanted to go play in the frost this morning.  She had a small melt down when I told her she couldn't.  She must have thought it was snow.  Days like these make you just want to crawl back into your nice warm bed and snuggle with your little ones.  We weren't able to do that since I had to get my son up for school today.  He even didn't want to get out of the warm bed, but who can blame him.  I plan on knitting today.  My mom and I have started a shrug in the spring, but we both stopped when the weather got warm.  So, today seems like the perfect day to do it.  I hope all of you have a great day and stay warm!  Happy knitting!  

First Blog Ever

Well, here I am writing my first blog ever!  I am excited to start one.  I have seen so many other peoples blogs that it inspired me to do one too.  It will also help my family to be able to keep up to date on my family and I.  So, if anyone has any tips on how to set up this whole blog thing let me know.  I have to sit and figure out how to work all of this.  So, I hope all of you will enjoy the blogs that I do and if you have tips on how to work this thing, let me know!  Happy blogging!
